Newcastle Park

Newcastle Park contains a unique stone monument of Charlotte Davies, the first white female to set foot on the soil of the Swan River Colony.

The park offers a children's playground. The footbridge across the Avon River is still the main access for the local children to their school. This is also a good viewing point for the 'Avon Descent', the white water rafting event held each year.
