Nine Acre Rock
Nine Acre Rock is an ideal picnic ground and reserve situated 14 kilometres south east on the Brookton-Kweda Road.
The view from this large expanse of rock is truly magnificent. Also to be seen are the remains of buildings that were the work of a Mr J Hansen. A man of Danish descent who became known in the area as the 'Animal Doctor'. The house and stable ruins were all built from local stone, clay and bush timber.
