Foreshore Reserve
Walk, jog, cycle or just sit alongside the estuary at Mandurah’s picturesque foreshore reserve. Children will revel in the variety of play equipment in one of Western Australia’s favourite playgrounds, where parents can watch on from shady picnic tables along the water’s edge. Safe swimming areas are complimented by free barbeques and extensive walk ways.
Along the northern end of the reserve is the newly established Dolphin Keys, with a range of restaurants, cafes and bars perched over the water with beautiful views. Watch the lives of the well-to-do as they pull up in their luxury yachts for a coffee or a bite to eat.
Situated in the heart of Mandurah, it is an easy stroll to the local shopping precinct with a range of clothing boutiques, home wares and souvenirs. During summer the foreshore reserve hosts a range of markets and festivals, including Mandurah’s popular Crabfest.
Mandurah is an aquatic paradise with an extensive river system, expansive estuary and kilometres of beautiful white sandy beaches. Located just a one hour drive south of Perth, Mandurah is a popular holiday destination. The new train runs frequently between Perth and Mandurah stations, with connecting buses to the foreshore.
