Greenbushes Mining Historical Park

Greenbushes Historical Mining Park provides an enlightening insight into the history of a fascinating mining town. Dating back to the late 1800s, Greenbushes became a booming tin mining and timber town. Take a look back over the town’s 130 year history which is encapsulated in the information boards around the park. Examine the old machinery used by the miners to excavate the tin and visit a mock mine shaft and replica prospector’s hut.

The Mining Heritage Walk is one of several excellent walk trails in Greenbushes and will take around one hour to complete. On return from the walk, stop for lunch at the park’s superb picnic facilities.

Explore the region further and get to know some of the locals by staying in one of the region’s bed and breakfasts or local hotels. Greenbushes is located just over three hours south of Perth.
