The Lily Dutch Windmill

Cafe, vineyard, accommodation, stone ground flour. The Lily Dutch Windmill is an authentic full size 16th century replica Dutch windmill. The five story windmill with its 22 tonne cap and sails is the only one of its kind in Australia and is a fully operational flour-producing windmill. With a sail length of 24.6 metres, it is also one of the largest traditional windmills ever built in Australia.

Adjacent to the windmill you will find traditional Dutch houses and our restaurant situated in the original re-located and re-constructed 1924 federation style railway station from Gnowangerup.

The Lily also offers morning and afternoon teas, lunch and dinner, delightful wines, guided windmill tours, souvenirs, private airstrip, spectacular panoramic views of the Stirling Ranges.
