Otway Eco Tours offers you a chance to explore the Otways with our fully guided Ecotours. Come Canoeing to see Platypus in the wild, Experience the Great Ocean Walk or try Mountain Bike Riding in the Great Otway National Park and get back to nature.


1. Platypus in the Wild Tour (3.5 - 4 hours)


Take our dawn or dusk canoe tour on a beautiful mountain lake. Leaving from the town of Forrest at dawn and dusk. Your guides have a wealth of knowledge about these adorable creatures that will satisfy even the most curious customer.


Cost: $85 (adult), $50 (child), $270 (family).


The Platypus Package (6- 7 hours)


We transport you from Lorne or Apollo Bay through the Great Otway National Park to Lake Elizabeth to view the platypus in the wild.


These dawn tours combine the platypus tour with a hearty breakfast and a visit to one of the Otways spectacular waterfalls.


Cost: $180pp adults, $80pp Children.


We guide you by canoe, no experience necessary. Your tour guides have many years experience in outdoor education, with backgrounds in biological science and eco- tourism.


We see the Platypus on 95% of our tours and usually have at least 5 sightings. There is a



20% discount for no sightings.



2. Walk on the Wild Side



The Great Ocean Walk offers you the chance to experience the coast with 91 kilometres of track to explore. We provide fully guided walks from 1 to 6 days and offer transfers from Melbourne.


You can stay in luxury accommodation or camp under the stars.

3. Forrest Mountain Bikes



Explore the new Mountain Bike Trails here in Forrest. We provide Mountain Bike Tours and hire. We can cater to all levels of riding



Cost: Hire $30 half day, $50 full day. Tours $70 half day, $95 full day.
