Ben Lomond Snow Sports
Ben Lomond Snow Sports hires out snow equipment and is located in Launceston, northern Tasmania. It is currently the only ski, snowboard, toboggan, lesson and clothing hire business on Ben Lomond. It is situated at the base of the Beginners lift tows on the mountain.
We operate the business from the beginning of the ski season until the end (usually that is mid July to mid September). The ski season in intangible to predict so we can usually offer at least snow play or an experience of an alpine environment. Ben Lomond Snow Sports can organise bus transfers to and from Launceston, accommodation in one of the commercial lodges on the mountain, lift tickets, lessons and hire of equipment. There is a small retail section within the business that has clothing and hats, gloves and socks.
Also on the site is a small take away food shop that has hot food, drinks and other necessities for a day in the snow.
Prices range from $15.00 to $60.00 for hire equipment.
