Tassie Blue Blueberries
Blueberries are an ideal pick-your-own fruit because they have no prickles and there is no need to get on either your knees or a ladder. During the January and February harvest time, Tassie Blue welcomes visitors who want to pick their own blueberries, or buy a punnet or a kilogram of pre-picked berries. The farm is also the home of Poverty Point fruit wines.
There are picnic and barbecue facilities at the farm, or you might want to take your pickings to the nearby Drip Beach for swimming or to Kays Beach, where just about every stone contains a fossil.
