A Freycinet Paddle – Three Hour Morning and Twilight TourThe Freycinet Paddle tour is the ultimate way to experience the Freycinet area. You paddle below the pink granite mountains, The Hazards, and across clear blue waters, explore pristine beaches, secluded coves and peer beneath the surface to the amazing marine life below. You will also learn tales of shipwrecked whalers, early settlers and French explorers. Travelling by sea kayaks allow us to slowly explore the coastline, passing quietly by wildlife such as majestic sea eagles. The tour includes some the secrets of Freycinet: Honeymoon Bay, the Fisheries and the old Quarry. Enjoy morning or afternoon tea at one of the beaches that line this pristine coast, all in the relaxed company of a small group and an expert local guide. The beauty of the contrasting landscape combined with the area's rich history, will allow you to feel the true essence of Freycinet. Aqua TaxiThe Aqua Taxi is a transport service on the Freycinet Peninsula. It offers visitors a chance to explore this coastal national park by providing access from the water for walking, kayaking and sightseeing. The vessel is a custom-built catamaran that comfortably seats 10 passengers. It is equipped with a stable platform that allows you to walk on and off the vessel to the beach. You can choose from a list of suggested itineraries, or tailor make your own Freycinet experience. For example: cruise by Aqua Taxi to Hazards Beach for an enjoyable, easy walk to Wineglass Bay. Four Day Freycinet Expedition Sea Kayak and Walk TourEscape the everyday and discover a place where time is measured by the turning of the tides! Paddle into a world of pristine beaches, pink granite mountains and waters so clear you feel you can touch the marine life below. Over 4 days, immerse yourself in the essence of the Freycinet Peninsula on a relaxed guided sea kayaking and walking adventure into the heart of the national park. In true expedition style, we carry all of our equipment and food in our kayaks – with our ultimate destination governed by nature's forces. Each night we choose a beachside location to set up camp and enjoy meals of fresh Tasmanian produce prepared by your guides in a unique wilderness setting. Departs on selected dates November– April. Freycinet in a Day - One Day Sea Kayak/Walk TourWondering how best to explore Freycinet with only one day? Look no further - discover the very best of what Freycinet has to offer on our full day kayak and walk adventure tour. This unique package combines our renowned morning Freycinet Paddle sea kayaking tour (Voted #4 Things to Try Before you die – Channel 9) with return afternoon transfers on our Aqua Taxi for a self guided level walk to Wineglass Bay. To top it all off we include a lunch voucher from the local bakery – it couldn't be easier. Your day begins with a relaxed paddle along Freycinet's stunning coastline - imagine pink granite mountains, sandy white beaches and blue waters so clear you feel you can touch the marine life below! Following your sea kayaking experience you'll collect your included lunch from the local bakery and board the Aqua Taxi for your cruise from Coles Bay into the heart of Freycinet National Park. Here you will enjoy the level self-guided 30-minute walk to Wineglass Bay, which has become world-renowned for its pristine waters, white sands and true wilderness setting. Take time to wander barefoot, picnic, relax, swim or simply soak up the stunning surrounds. You then stroll back to the beach for your Aqua Taxi return journey to Coles Bay, where your Freycinet adventure comes to an end! They will design a program to suit your requirements: from a two-hour adventure to a beachside barbecue or full-day experience. Freycinet Adventures is a fully mobile organisation and can tailor activities for a variety of locations throughout Tasmania. Rentals - Sea Kayak and Camping EquipmentSea Kayak Hire: from $55.00 single or double kayak per day. Rental kayaks come equipped with safety equipment, local information and weather forecasts. Freedom rentals are suited to experienced and confident paddlers who understand sea conditions and how to manage risks. | |
