Kaydale Lodge Gardens

Kaydale Lodge Gardens is an amazing cool climate garden on Tasmania’s beautiful northwest coast. It is only an hour’s drive from Devonport. Explore and be inspired by this diverse two hectare country garden. Owned and maintained by a dedicated family of gardeners, Kay and Robert Crowden together with their two daughters Armalie and Lesley, have created a garden brimming with interest and truly showcases all the four seasons.
What really sets Kaydale apart is the quality and creativity of the hard landscaping and attention to detail that ensures Kaydale’s popularity and reputation as one of Tasmania’s premiere garden attractions.
It is stylish, magical and a must for visitors to the northwest of Tasmania. The gardens visual delights include woodland ponds, streams, waterfalls, pear walk, stonewalls, Fritillaria meadow, massed trilliums and cyclamen. There is also a dry Zen garden, vegetable garden, large scale rockery rare plant collections and all enhanced by the views of majestic mount Roland.
Kaydale Lodge is open daily for morning and afternoon teas and light lunches and also offers warm, comfortable country in-house accommodation with old style farm hospitality.
Kaydale Lodge is situated on a two hundred acre farm in Nietta, just inland from Ulverstone.
