Port Broughton Historic Walking Trail
The history of Port Broughton is revealed as you walk around this small town filled with history.
Along the way visit historic landmarks, such as the Old Railway Station (1876), the Heritage Centre (1892), the fully restored “Cottage" (1898), the Uniting Church (1885), St Phillips Anglican Church (1886) and St Margaret's Catholic Church (1902). Then finish your walk at the Port Broughton Hotel.
Call in at the Visitor Information Centre, located in the Parlour Rooms off the Port Broughton Hotel to collect a "Walk Around Port Broughton" booklet.
Start your walk at the jetty, opposite the Visitor Information Centre, going to the North Caravan Park and back along the shoreline of the bay. Read about the history of Port Broughton at the Heritage Plaques on the foreshore. The trail is an easy walk of three kilometres return and should take approximately 30 minutes to an hour.
