Coffin Bay National Park
Enjoy some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in South Australia, ranging from ancient granite, limestone and sandstone cliffs to long beaches bordered by white sand dunes.
While some sections of the parks picturesque coastline can be reached by two wheel drive. Four wheel drive tracks crossing sandy and limestone terrain open up more remote areas of the park to adventure seekers. Picturesque sections of the coastline can also be reached via bitumen road.

Enjoy fishing? There are numerous spots to cast a line, such as the sheltered waters of 7-mile beach or kayak the calm waters of Yangie Bay.
Keep an eye out for Western Grey kangaroos, pods of dolphins, emus and goannas. Bird watchers may catch a glimpse of a sea eagle overhead, or some of the migratory birds that visit each summer.
Explore the coast on foot along one of the walking trails, see the spectacular bright red flame bush in flower. Bushwalkers are well catered for with a variety of trails while toilets are available at most campsites.
Just 50 kilometres from Port Lincoln and two kilometres from the town of Coffin Bay, Coffin Bay National Park is a must for anyone with a sense of adventure wishing to test their four wheel drive skills along the sand tracks that explore the Eyre Peninsula.
Remember to check tide times if travelling by four wheel drive and carry enough food, water and fuel for your stay.
