Darke's Monument

Darke's Monument is a historical monument to the memory of explorer John Charles Darke, who was speared by natives whilst travelling through the Darke Peak area. The gravesite of John Charles Darke is located to the east at Darke's Peak, named in his honour.

The monument is located at Koongawa via Kyancutta, near the highway between Kimba and Wudinna.
