Adelaide Showground
The Adelaide Showground hosts over 100 events each year, including the South Australian Caravan and Camping Show, Big Day Out, various home-style expos and the Royal Adelaide Wine Show. It is home to the Adelaide Showground Farmers Market every Sunday morning and will host the BMX World Championships in 2009. The Adelaide Showground is the venue for the Royal Adelaide Show, South Australia's largest community event held from the first Friday in September each year. As South Australia's most versatile venue, the Adelaide Showground offers a diverse range of indoor and outdoor venues ideal for conferences, banquets, public events, exhibitions and trade shows. Onsite car parking is available for up to 2000 cars. Following to a $42 million redevelopment, Adelaide Showground has been transformed into a world-class venue and one of the greenest exhibition centres in Australia. Recently named South Australia's Best Specialty Venue (Meetings and Events Australia 2007).
