Port Bikes
Port Bikes is a free bike hire scheme, giving you two-hours free of hire use within the Port Adelaide and Semaphore area. Enjoy cycling around the fascinating Port Adelaide State Heritage Area and seaside Semaphore while visiting attractions along the way.
All that is required is completion of a registration form and a photo ID, which is held as a deposit until you return. The first two-hours are free, if you need extra time for sightseeing the cost is AUD2.00 per hour for every hour thereafter up to a maximum of six-hours. Bikes need to be returned to the Port Adelaide Visitor Information Centre by no later than 4pm on the day of hire.
Upon registration you automatically receive a free Bicycle SA day membership, which covers you for insurance for the duration of hire. A bike is provided along with a safety helmet, security lock and bike route map.
