Essdale Park Lavender Farm
Essdale Park Lavender Farm commenced operation in 2000 with trial plantings of lavender suitable for Queensland conditions. The lavender farm makes up part of the homestead and it is also part of a Charolais cattle stud.
Essdale Park Lavender is family owned and produces quality lavender and aromatherapy products. Their receipts consists of the best nature has to offer form indulgence hand lotions to men and baby products all sold on farm from the Lavender Loft. Re-planting has been the order for 2006 and 2007 promises to be a spectacular year for flowering from March onwards if the elements are kind.
They also supply lavender plants from their on farm nursery. Morning and afternoon teas are available during flowering. Lavender ice cream is a popular favorite. As part of the Bunya trail the lavender farm is always worth a visit. If out of season please phone ahead and the friendly staff will be only too happy to assist with your enquiry.
