Brogo Dam

Located in the rugged Brogo Ranges north west of Bega. Picnic and BBQ facilities are available and set in well maintained gardens. Ideal for boating and canoeing especially in the upper reaches where sheer rock walls to 180 feet, and the abundant ferns and rock orchids provide a photographers
paradise.

The dam is stocked with bass and brown trout as well as native eels and fishing is allowed. An 8kph speed limit is enforced on boats to protect the delicate environmental balance of the foreshores. Brogo Dam has a resident ranger.

Canoes to explore the dam are available for hire on a daily basis from Wadbilliga Wilderness Canoes. To book please phone the operator, Mr David
Thorssell on (02) 6492 7328.
