Relax in the park on the banks of the river or perhaps feast on a fresh or cooked seafood lunch, enjoy a drink or a bite to eat at the local hotel or café. Fish off the riverbank, launch your boat at the ramp or simply watch the boats go by.

Turn left into Wommin Bay Road and discover the Tweed Coast Villages of Kingscliff, Cabarita Beach/Bogangar, Hastings Point and Pottsville. Here you can enjoy fishing, swimming, boating, parklands, picnics, BBQ’s or relaxing strolls along the unspoilt beaches. Enjoy alfresco dining, clubs, restaurants, cafes, shops, hotels and popular local markets.

Some of the interesting features of the drive are Norries Headland at Cabarita Beach/Bogangar, where the dolphins frolick in the surf. Cudgera Creek is a popular picnic spot at Hastings Point.
