3 Hour Coastal Desert Discovery Tour - Sygna Shipwreck Tour

Join us for an adventure of a lifetime as we travel across the largest coastal mass of shifting sand in the southern hemisphere. Marvel at the views from one of the biggest dunes before sand boarding down its face. Learn about the history while visiting places like tin city which dates back to the depression years a favourite with film makers. Dig for fresh water you'll be amazed at the taste try the pipi shuffle? Catch and release of course. The tour will finish with a visit to the largest shipwreck on the Australian coast the Sygna then its back into the dunes to hear about the mineral mining days and sand exports before exiting via the hundred foot hill. A Full Day Tour that has the lot

Your guide scruffy (you'll understand how he got his name when you meet him) will transport you into the Stockton sand dunes and area of spectacular scenery and natural beauty for a fun filled and exciting day with plenty of photo opportunities. We will enter from the southern end and exit via the northern end but not before we have done some exploring and driving over the massive shifting dunes. And fitting a bit of sand boarding as we go then we will visit such icons as the Sygna wreck hear the story about how it ended up on the beach. Tin City a group of shacks that pop up out of the dunes like an oasis in the desert a favourite location for film makers with mad max and Sahara being shot there. Then it's out onto the beach for a leisurely drive along the waters edge stopping off to try and catch a pipi a mollusc that lives in the sand before heading into nelsons bay for a cruise with lunch supplied a perfect ending to an exciting morning of sand driving and exploring. But the tour doesn't end here we still have to visit a winery for some tasting on our way back to our drop off point. This tour has it all including a cruise with lunch provided.

Beach and Dune Adventure Tour

Climb some of the 30 metre high dunes in 4WD comfort and experience the ultimate journey down the sand dune. Sandboarding! Slide down the dunes at incredible speed.

Mountains to the Vines Eco Tour

Enjoy a relaxing day out in one of our luxury four wheel drive buses as we travel across the Watagan mountains and down into the Hunter Valley Vineyards. Our first stop of the day will be mount sugarloaf with views over Lake Macquarie (largest coastal saltwater lake in the southern hemisphere or 4 times the size of Sydney Harbour) as well as the coast and beaches a good photo opportunity (our morning tea stop) then onto the four wheel drive tracks that will take us into an area that has been continually logged for over 160 years and our lunch spot where we will take a short walk through the forest and past a beautiful moss wall with plenty of time for photos. After lunch we will continue on our way through the forest and fertile farmlands before stopping to take in the views over the Hunter vineyards. For those wishing to partake in a little wine tasting or buying we will be stopping at a winery or two for an afternoon break.
