Munghorn Gap Nature Reserve

This nature reserve is a mecca for birdwatchers, with 164 recorded species of birds, including the endangered regent honeyeater. The Castle Rock walking track offers an easy 8 km return walk with stunning views from the Sandstone ‘pagoda’ rock formations at the end of the track.

Munghorn Gap Nature Reserve is the second oldest nature reserve in New South Wales.

Picnic areas at Moolarben and a 4km (one way) walk to Castle Rocks.
