Gulgong Pioneer Museum

The museum contains a wide range of period costumes, rare 19th Century
crockery and furniture. Described as the finest collection of Australiana
in the country the museum is set on an acre of land in the heritage town of
Gulgong. A stone cottage has been re-located in the grounds. The museum has
copies of the Holterman collection of historical photographs and a fully
restored Cobb and Co coach, along with other horse drawn vehicles. A Museum
of Sight and Sound was opened adjoining the museum in 1995.
