Carillon

The Carillon was built in 1933 as a memorial to the men of Bathurst and
District who served in World War I. Since then other conflicts where local
people have served have been included on this memorial. It is the scene of
ANZAC Day Services as well as those for Remembrance Day.

It has 35 bells and while it can be played manually, is connected to a
computer and is programmed to play 40 different tunes. The bells can be
heard every day at 12.00pm and 1.00pm.
