Camp Cypress Ltd
Camp Cypress provides an ideal accommodation and camping venue especially for bird watching groups who regularly explore the local bird routes of Baradine and the Pilliga Forest. Located 45 km north-west from Coonabarabran and the Newell Highway, Camp Cypress is situated on 75 hectares of open woodland at the Baradine showground and old racecourse, and only 1.5 km - 2 km from town services and sporting facilities.
Accommodation consists of four comfortable cabins. Each cabin has four reverse cycle air-conditioned rooms with ensuites. All cabins contain a common kitchenette area with bar fridge, jugs, toasters, cutlery, crockery, large table and chairs. Other accommodation includes a backpacker-style bunkhouse, housing up to 20 bunks per bunkhouse.
Camp Cypress also has 20 powered caravan/camp sites, unlimited space for general camping, and male and female ablutions blocks - each with 8 toilet and 7 shower cubicles. Laundry facilities are also supplied.
Camp Cypress has a full commercial kitchen and reverse cycle air-conditioned dining room capable of catering for groups as well as large functions for up to 150 guests. Training facilities are also available.
