Regional History Room

The aim of the Regional History Room is to collect materials relating to all aspects of the history of Goulburn and the Southern Tablelands region, making them available for research purposes for travellers.

The Regional History Room collection is provided jointly by the Library and the Goulburn District Family History Society inc and includes The State Records Archives Resource Kit, NSW and other birth, death and marriage records, NSW Probrate Index, convict and transportation records, shipping and immigration lists, local newspapers on microfilm from 1848, comprehensive indexes and guides, Goulburn and district church records and cemetery records and transcriptions.
