High 'n Wild Mountain Adventures is an Outdoor Adventure Operator in the Blue Mountains near Sydney. We offer a wide range of outdoor adventure tours, specialising in mountain adventure.

Abseiling-Beginner-Intermediate-Advanced:
Take your choice of 30, 60, 125 metre abseils or one of our multi pitch adventures. All of the abseiling takes place within breathtaking scenery, it's simply up to you how high you want to go.
Canyoning-Beginner-Intermediate-Advanced:
Combine the thrill of abseiling with a canyon of your choice and capability. Full day canyons (abseiling experience required) enter the fern lined canyons, experience waterfall abseils and enjoy the sheer adventure.
Rock-Climbing -Beginner-Intermediate-Advanced:
Let our fully qualified guides (CIA) take you in to the vertical world of climbing. "Experience what you would not have believed"
Mountain Biking - All grades:
Full and half day trips available, from easy grades through to highly technical rides.
Mountaineering:
Introduction to mountaineering courses through the winter months. Ice climbing at Blue Lake. Once these courses have been completed we invite you to take on our yearly expedition to South America, Alaska and Nepal.
High n Wild has been operating since 1991. With our 100% safety record you can be assured that you are in safe hands. High 'n Wild Mountain Adventures employs over 40 guides in a wide range of outdoor pursuits. All our staff guides are qualified outdoor professionals with decades of experience in the field. Qualifications held include CIA Climbing Instructors Association of NSW and Victoria, TAFE Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation.

Beginners Super JumpA beginners abseiling day for those who love excitement and adventure! The first step to many of our adventures and our most popular trip. The first abseil is just three-meters high, then the abseils are gradually increased in height to 25 metres. After lunch a short walk to our stunning BIG cliffs and superb views across the Kanimbla Valley then you have the chance to abseil the 55 metre Super Jump. Suitable for anyone from 8 to 80 years. No abseiling experience required. Meet at the Katoomba office of High n Wild and the abseil site is only 10 minutes drive to a beautiful secluded area. Empress CanyonThis canyon has it all with water jumps exhilarating swims, waterslides and fantastic scenery. We start with a ten-minute walk into the canyon where you wade into the creek that descends into the narrow slot where you jump into the rock pool, the first of many jumps, swims and abseils. The final abseil out is one of the best waterfalls abseils in the mountains. No abseiling experience required for this day abseil and canyon experience. Plenty of photo opportunities in this experience. Mini Jump half day abseiling adventureThe ideal half day abseiling adventure for beginners who want a gentle, step-by-step introduction before going on to bigger things. The day starts with a thorough introduction to equipment and technique, with plenty of time to 'learn the ropes' on our 3-5 metre high practise slopes. At your leisure you continue with 15-30 metre abseils at our Mini Jump site. That's about 10 storeys high. Do as many abseils as you want! The setting in beautiful bushland, makes for a great introductory adventure. Suitable for children from 8 years. | |
