Mount Majura Vineyard
Mount Majura Vineyard's handcrafted wines benefit from a unique combination of red volcanic limestone containing soils, an easterly aspect and a cool climate. These features are expressed in intense, elegant and complex wines. Grapes are sourced only from Mount Majura Vineyard in the Canberra District. The vineyard was first planted within the ACT, in 1988.
The cellar door is open from 10am-5pm Sundays and long weekends. A picnic area is available for guest to enjoy under the gum trees.
Mount Majura vineyard is located on Majura Road, which connects Gungahlin to the Canberra Airport. Majura Road is approached via the Federal Highway or via Pialligo Rd from the airport side.
The range of wines available include; Riesling, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet franc Merlot, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Tempranillo and Shiraz.
