Surveyor's Hill Vineyards and Bed & Breakfast
Overlooking the valley of the Murrumbidgee River in a very beautiful landscape on the slope of Surveyor’s Hill, our property covers 225 acres, and has plantings of 25 acres of vines. People who stay with us enjoy walking and exploring this historic part of the Canberra region, and those who enjoy a bit of a climb can walk to the top of Surveyor’s Hill itself (735 metres), where great views can be had of Canberra and the Murrumbidgee valley.
Bed and Breakfast at Surveyors Hill has unique features, and is provided in the 1930s family homestead. Breakfast is served in the private dining room of the cottage. The cottage has two double bedrooms with Queen size beds, and is fully self contained and private, with all facilities including an excellent kitchen, open fire in lounge room, electric heaters in all rooms etc. Guests have the cottage for their exclusive use because we only let it to one couple or family or group of friends at any one time. Also located onsite is our Winery. Cellar door sales are available and we offer fine quality table wines, including Chardonnay, Shiraz and Cabernets.
