Boranup Gallery
Established in 1989, James and Anne Howieson have created something very unique with Boranup Gallery. Set in the tall timbers of the Boranup National Park, just off Caves Road, five kilometres south of the Lake Cave, the fine rammed earth and timber building incorporating seven species of timber is a showcase for the artisans of the South West.
Inside, one becomes very aware of the beauty of wood. Permanently displayed is Boranup Galleries very own exclusive range of Boranup furniture designed and handcrafted on the property by a dedicated team of master craftsmen utilising the specialty timbers unique to the south west of Western Australia.
Complimenting the furniture is a constantly changing display of over eighty works by renowned Australian Artists. This diverse range includes vibrant oils and water colours capturing outback Australia by Arthur Hamblin, imaginative and humorous Australiana topics colourfully portrayed by Lori Pensini and the unique style of Joseph Zago showing off our Karri Forests.
After you have had a browse through the Gallery, why not relax on the decking and sample the gourmet delights from the new Boranup Café.
