on the Golden Highway, it is the ideal place for a stopover, to enjoy a relaxed

lifestyle and excellent recreational facilities. It is approximately 2 hours

from Tamworth, Newcastle, Mudgee and Dubbo.


Climate


The climate is predominantly mild to warm (-2 to 30ºC) experiencing some

winter frosts. Rainfall ranges from 750mm in the north to 550mm in the south.

This rainfall is dominant in late spring/summer with 40% falling in autumn and

winter. April is traditionally the driest month.
