How to get thereBy Car: Lake Macquarie is 90 minutes drive from Sydney's CBD. Take the F3 Freeway from Sydney. For East Lake; take the Budgewoi/Swansea exit for Nords Wharf, Cams Wharf, Catherine Hill Bay, Swansea, Blacksmiths, Pelican, Marks Point, Belmont & Charlestown. For West Lake; take the Morisset/Cooranbong exit for Cooranbong, Morisset, Watagan Mountains, Myuna Bay, Wangi Wangi & Toronto. For North Lake; take the Cardiff exit for Speers Point & Warners Bay.
By Air: Lake Macquarie is a 30 minute flight from Sydney with the airport based at Belmont on the Eastern side of the Lake. Alternatively Newcastle airport is based at Williamtown and is a 40 minute flight from Sydney.
By Coach: Local services run regularly between neighbouring suburbs.
