Avondale Harvest Festival
Harvest is an exciting time of year, when farmers gather fruits of the year’s toil. Regardless of the season, harvest goes ahead and we would like to share some of the processes with people from all walks of life. The Avondale Harvest Festival is a chance for families to join us in that celebration.
At Avondale Discovery Farm, Beverley there will be something to interest each family member. Farm animals for the young and young at hear and vintage machinery in action for those old enough to remember. There will also be music and dancing for folk with a cultural leaning, country craft stalls for the shopaholics and Devonshire teas fro those who want to sit and soak up the rural atmosphere.
Avondale’s harvest festival is held at Avondale Discovery Farm, 6 km west of Beverley. It is a pleasant country drive 1.5 hours from Midland. The entry fee is AUD10 per car, ample parking.
