Waddi Music Festival
The Waddi Music Festival is in its third year and well on its way to exposing Badgingarra in the Dandaragan Shire and surrounding areas with local talent, music, art, food and wine.
The Waddi Music Festival is a family festival focusing on family values and encouraging regional participation. Local artists and well known bands from Perth together with street theatre events will provide great entertainment. Local wine and food makers and local farmers will promote local and regional produce. The Retro Chef from Channel 7 will be cooking regional produce for people to taste. Children will be able to enjoy a variety of work shops, rides, face painting and astronomy once the sun goes down. Scenic plane trips over the weekend highlighting our own local iconic Pinnancles, TIWEST mine site and Emu Downs Wind Farm.
The festival will be modelled on the very successful first and second years and the Fairbridge Festival that is now in its fifteenth year of operation. Martin Gillespie event organiser will be lending his expertise to make the Waddi Music Festival a resounding success.
The WMP will target an audience from the Turquoise Coast, Coral Coast, Jurien Bay, Cervantes, Cataby, Dandaragan, Badgingarra, Eneabba, Leeman, Green Head, Moor and Coorow. It will also draw audiences from Perth to Geraldton.
