Red Cliffs Historical Steam Railway Inc.
The Red Cliffs Historical Steam Railway is a small 2ft gauge railway run by an enthusiastic band of volunteers. The train operates on the first Sunday of each month, Easter Saturday and Queens Birthday on the half hour between 11am and 4pm from its Karadoc Station which is easily identifiable from the Calder Highway. Travel south from Red Cliffs along the Calder Highway to the Werrimull turn-off which is approximately 1.6km from Big Lizzie Tractor. Turn right over the railway line and then immediately right into the train grounds. Both Lukee the steam engine, and Harry the diesel operates in tandem most running days. A continuous barbeque, wine tasting and some stalls also operate on running days. Take a ride back in history with the greatest small train ride in Victoria.
