Childers Village Markets
The Childers Village Market commences Sunday 16 March and will continue on the third Sunday of each month. Childers Arts Council Incorporated is a not–for-profit community arts organisation who will coordinate the market.
Revenue raised from the market stalls will assist with promotion and running costs associated with market day, as well as funding other arts and cultural initiatives created and coordinated by the Childers Arts Council.
Such activities include music and performance events, exhibitions and workshops. There will usually be some form of entertainment taking place at the venue during the market day as well as the usual stalls selling a variety of locally produced goods and also craft workers will have stalls with their hand made items for sale.
Stallholder registration is essential for participation and Queensland Arts Council members are offered a lower rate.
