The Inaugural Rock Stock Festival, featuring the "Return of the Legends of Rock N Roll" will be held at Helidon, Queensland, on the weekend of 6 and 7 September.
It promises to be a weekend filled with nostalgia and memories giving people of all ages the chance to relive or experience for the first time, the music, fashion and culture that was the 50s, 60s and 70s.
This weekend will begin on Saturday night with the Delltones performing their 50th Anniversary "Bopa Doo Wop" National Concert tour, a full stage and lighting extravaganza, at the Helidon Community Centre. The Sunday festival will begin at 10:00 a.m. with live music from 10:30 a.m. The day will take on a nostalgic, yet family orientated, atmosphere with food stalls, side show alley, art and craft stalls and activities and novelty stalls all embracing a 50s, 60s and 70s flavour.
