Queensland Model Railway Show
Discover the fascinating world of model railways at the train mecca of Queensland! Marvel at an impressive display of model railway layouts and trade displays and learn more about this hobby which has hundreds of thousands of followers worldwide. Admission to the Queensland Model Railway Show is free after general Museum entry.
While at the Museum, visitors can discover over 16 interactive exhibition zones, each exploring a different aspect of the rail in Queensland story. Visitors can also try their hand at driving a big, rumbling train on a simulator, relive the romance of rail with beautifully restored heritage locomotives and carriages, and step back in time to see sparks fly on a Behind the Scenes Tour of the Working Workshops (enclosed footwear required).
