Bermagui Seaside Fair
Bermagui Seaside Fair is a free fun-filled day for everyone!
This multi award winning tourism event is held on the second Saturday in March each year. The Fair attracts around 10,000 people, many of whom stay for the weekend and longer.
Bermagui Seaside Fair includes a traditional Blessing of the Fleet ceremony, a fancy dress street parade, over 100 food and market stalls, carnival, sandcastle competition, helicopter joy flights over the scenic coastline, kid's entertainment and novelty events, music and entertainment on two stages, monster auction, quality arts, crafts and photographic exhibitions, pet pageant and much more. The day concludes with a spectacular fireworks display over Horseshoe Bay.
The feature event of the Bermagui Seaside Fair is “Sculpture on the Edge”, an exhibition of large sculptural pieces in the magnificent setting of Endeavour Point Headland, as well as an indoor exhibition of smaller sculpture works and a public symposium. In 2009 "Sculpture on the Edge" will run from Friday 13th March to Friday 20th March.
