New Years Eve in the Gong 2009
Together with Wollongong Toyota they're presenting... New Year's Eve in the Gong 2009!
Events will take place at the new Belmore Basin, Wollongong Harbour and Osborne Park commencing from 7pm to 9.30pm. Fireworks at 9.30pm (no midnight fireworks).
Bring your rug and enjoy the evening at this family friendly community event! Entertainment will include, stilt walkers, jugglers, face painting, tattoos, roving characters, clowns, balloon sculptors, buskers, amusement rides and stalls until 10.30pm. This is an alcohol-free and waste wise event.
The following roads below will be closed from 5pm to 10.15pm on 31 December 2009,
Cliff Road between Georges Place and Marine Drive, Harbour Street between Cliff Road and Smith Street, including Old Court House Lane. Harbour access ramp off Endeavour Drive. Businesses within the road closure zone will be open as normal.
