10th Annual Gerringong Street Parade Party and Concert
Gerringong Street Parade, Party and Concert - Mark your calendar Saturday 20th December 2008, for the 10th Annual Street Parade, Party and Concert, entry is free!
Join the celebrations when the Rotary Club of Gerringong Sunrise presents the Christmas Street Party and Parade. Food stalls, market stalls and craft outlets. And of course Santa will help bring the main street and the Old School Park to life. Santa will be available to be photographed with children.
The Street Parade, led by the Illawarra Pipe Band, floats, vintage cars, hot rods, trikes, community and sporting groups will travel the main street, finishing in the Old School Park. Have photos taken with Santa by a professional photographer, buy unique and unusual gifts for Christmas from the many craft and specialty stores, including clothing and toys.
Enjoy the free concert straight after the parade. Other highlights include, face painting for the kids, baby animal farm.
Another highlight will be a Christmas raffle, with more than 2000 prizes. First Prize is a $1000 Barbara Spence painting. Other prizes include a $800 Christmas hamper, boogie board, and a voucher valued at $500 and night's accommodation with dinner for two, valued at $200.
This is an event that can be enjoyed by all the family, come along and be part of the fun.
